Great question, because the Black Berkey Elements do not remove healthy minerals from the water, the PH level is not affected up or down in a significant way.
Tested my tap PH it’s around 7. Tested the PH out my Berkey with the added Fluoride filters and it’s now over 8.5! I now have cheap, crisp, clean, clear, great tasting alkaline water!
