Homemade Gluten-Free Playdough

Share

Who hasn't eaten that colorful, salty, dough for playing?

If you have little ones at home, or if you were a kid within the last 60 years, then you're no doubt familiar with this toy.

Originally created for use in cleaning wallpaper in the 1930s, it was re-purposed for use as a modeling clay in the 50s. Sales for it are still strong with Hasbro.

Since children routinely eat the name brand Play-Doh, I found it interesting to discover this gluten-free version that you can make at home, easily and with (4) ingredients:

  1. Baking Soda
  2. Corn Starch
  3. Food Coloring
  4. Water

Sounds colorful!
