This is a great value. Consider that, for me to cook a beef roast to equal the contents in one large can, it would cost me more than twice as much. My meal would last for days, but the Survival Cave Food can lasts for over 12 years. So, I bought cases of these, and am re-ordering more.
My family just tried the large can of Beef. When I removed the meat onto a plate and looked into the can, I found about 25% of the can was left with cooking juices, which we made gravy from. The boneless beef meat comes in tender and firm chunks, which had the fat nicely trimmed. There is actual chunks of beef meat in 75% of the can. We only had one small piece of fat in the entire can, just enough to make our soup. The can will yield about 9 or 10 normal sized servings, as it says on the can.
I recommend this all American made beef product to help your family prepare as mine has, because it is economical and a quality product for long term storage food.
